Hi,
VW T25 camper 1990 1.9 petrol.
Just bought a used Clifford Concept 650 Mk1 but the black immobiliser wires are cut and not marked (Wiring looms H3 and H4).
Wiring loom H4 (power) has 2 black wires connected together to 20amp fuse so I assume this is(H4/4 +12v)and indicator light flash input (H4/3) but not sure which is which.
Also 2 wires both with earth terminals on so assume both ground(H4/1, H4/2)- again not sure which is which.
Wiring loom H3 (immobiliser) has 4 black wires but taped as 2 pairs so assume one pair ignition and one pair starter- not sure which is which, one goes to car side of cut wire the other to key side of cut wire according to the installation manual. What happens if they are reversed?
Have disassembled casing and circuit board pins are numbered 1-8 for the above 8 wires. Does anyone have a pin out diagram for this alarm or know how to test with a multimeter? Or failing that does anyone know which wire is which based on the 2 connectors inside the clamshell?
Thanks
Pete

Re the first two wires with the 20 amp fuse, connect each in turn the unit will either trigger off or the LED will start flashing slowly.
That should have a 5 amp fuse.
The other is there for indicator feed and needs a 20 amp fuse.
The two with ring terminals, if you meter them and if they're common they are the grounds.
You can connect both at different locations or just one or both together, makes no difference.
Turn the alarm off, with those two pairs each pair should now be common.
Unfortunately you will have to suck and see, cut your black ignition wire, join a a pair to each end.
Make sure alarm is turned off.
Does the car start? Lucky devil.
If not turn them round. Go? If no go try the other pair in the same order, once you have the ignition sorted, on to the starter pair (BLACK/ red or RED / black can never remember which).
