Hey all. I installed a Autostart 2371-tw-fm into a Mazda 3 (Manual). I am running a ADS-TB with FM-2 firmware for the bypass. I cannot get the unit to crank. I can arm it and remove the key and it continues to run, shut it down. But when I try to start it, it seems like it tries to start but doesn't crank. It then gives me 3 flashes. Which appears to be a VTS / tach fail.
Any ideas? I am lost on this one.

A couple of thoughts...
1. Clutch bypass?
2. I'm not familiar with Autostart units, but do they require running in Tach Mode for manual transmission vehicles? If yes, did you get a successful tach learn?
3. Did the ADS TB FM2 program as per the install guide?
Might try a remote start while depressing the clutch pedal.
Might try a remote start with the power disconnect to the ADS TB and a working key in the ignition switch - not turned.
Soldering is fun!

You hit it right on the head. It was the clutch bypass. That's what I get for being lazy. I did a Mazda before that had a positive clutch bypass, but this was negative. Rookie mistake....
No clutch, no crank.
Thanks!
