Thank you in advance for any assistance you might offer.
I've installed three other remote starts with no issue. I do my homework ahead of time (study the wiring diagrams, compare multiple diagrams, and test wires at time of install.) Probably overkill, but that delivered successful results in the other situations.
Now I'm working on a 2008 Honda Pilot, installing an Avital 4113 with a PKALL bypass, and an XK02 doorlock integration module.
The first time I connect the Avital and PKALL it will start by the remote one time. I see the red LED on the PKALL on solid and it runs just fine.   After that when I press the Remote Start button the park lights flash 5 times. After reviewing the manual it looks like that may be the Car Finder Function.
My wiring setup looks like this:
Primary Harness (H1), 9 pin
h1/1 light GREEN/ black Factory Alarm Disarm N/C
h1/2 GREEN / WHITE Factory alarm rearm N/C
h1/3 yellow + Ignition out (to alarm) N/C
h1/4 WHITE/ blue - Activation input N/C
h1/5 orange ground when locked N/C
h1/6 brown horn output to lt/grn blu in steering column
h1/7 RED / white trunk release N/C
h1/8 black    ground input   -- connected to bolt in kick panel, verified good ground point with DMM
h1/9 white light flash output -- set to negative -- RED / yellow combination switch
Remote Start Harness H3/5-pin connector
h3/1 BLACK/ white - neutral safety switch input -- connected to included switch, switch is on and other leg of switch connected back to ground
h3/2 violet/white tachometer input - - not connected yet - will connect to fuel injector wire as this is 2wd model.
h3/3 brown + brake shutdown     wht/black brake pedal
h3/4 gray   - hood pin switch shutdown input --- not connected yet.. will connect to yellow at 22 pin plug, pin 6 driver fuse box facing firewall
h3/5 blue/white 2nd status/rear defogger NC
Heavy Gague Relay, 6pin
1 red   high current 12v input   to thick white in steering column
2 pink/wht output to second circuit - wht/black and set to accessory in programming
3 red   high current 12v input   to thick white in steering column
4 orange output to accessory circuit   yellow in steering column
5 purple output to starter    BLACK/ wht in steering column
6 pink    output to primary ignition circuit blk / YELLOW
Satellite harness - 4pin connector
1 blue status output to pkall gwr wire
2 orange accessory output n/c
3 purple starter output n/c
4 pink    ignition output n/c
Door lock 3-pin connector
n/c
D2D port is connected to the XK02, and from the XK02 I have a wire running to Doorlock Data and Door Pin Switch.
I've tried unlocking the drivers door (so the security system is not armed), tried unlocking all doors, and almost every time it flashes the park lights 5 times. Once in a while it will remote start....
Has anyone run into this issue with a Honda Pilot?
My other installs have gone so smooth!!
Thank you again for your help.

Not sure how long you are pressing the button to remote start but you only have to press for 1 second and leave go. If you hold it down it will be in car finder mode. When there is something keeping it from remote starting like hoodpin active, no ground on the neutral wire or 12 volts on the brake signal wire, those avitals don't respond with a parking light flash. They just don't do anything. I believe there is a key light or immobilizer light in the cluster, does that light behave the same when you try to remote start as when you use the key to start normally?
