Hey guys! i got a 2003 cavalier auto 4 door with power locks. I picked up these:
Compustar CS800-S command start
IdataLink ADS-DL bypass module
now i been going over the install and i cant quite grasp it...from what i can see from the idatalink pic if i do the D2D install i only have to one connection to the car? and just wire the 2 modules together in 1 way mode...here is a pic of the install pic im referring to...am i wrong or right? or better yet anyone have a pictorial?

Not exactly.  The iDatalink wire diagram makes some assumptions and does not show all the necessary wiring.  It only shows

items that it directly handles.

The CS800-s is two-way D2D compatible with the ADS DL module.  The ADS DL module must be flashed with the ADS DL GM1

firmware.  ( There are many flavors of firmware available for the ADS DL.)  There is a white sticker on the package that indicates
the firmware that was loaded at the factory.

The ADS DL will handle the alarm ( if present ), locks, bypass and supply a Tach signal.  It does not supply the Brake or Hood status.

Additionally, all the ignition wires must be connected plus the Parking Lights.  These items are not shown in the diagram.
