Hey guys I have a 08 5.4 engine crew cab F250. It is an xlt and has power door locks but was ordered without keyless entry and no theft system ( truck was ordered as a fleet vehicle). I am getting ready to install a Compustar cs800-s remote start and keyless entry. My question is how do I wire the door locks ? All my research gives me conflicting answers on what type of door lock system I have and if I need to add 2 relays for reversing polarity. All the wiring diagrams I have found shows I have 1 unlock and 1 lock wire on the truck. The Compustar has the same 2 wires. Thanks again guys I have done a few remote starts in the past but it was older vehicles that had simple wiring.

You can wire the Compustar's Unlock- and Lock- outputs directly to the corresponding wires in your truck. No relays required.
