Hello!
I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with factory Mopar VTSS. How would I completely disable the factory VTSS if I do not have a working key FOB and if I try with a Diagnostic Scan Tool I get the option to enable or disable the VTSS, but it does nothing when changed (stays active, ignores the change)?
If you can help, THANK YOU!

By the way.....
In my XTool D8, it is showing that the factory alarm already IS DISABLED.....but it still blinks in the instrument panel and still sets when I lock all the doors and I cannot change the status to ENABLE or DISABLE (No response to the change)

I suspect there is a programming issue with this model vehicle.
There are MANY reports of issues with the remotes and VTSS with the 2005 model.
I removed the BCM and thoroughly inspected the PCB and tested all the easily test-able components.   I found no flaws.
If there is an issue with the BCM programming, that would be especially difficult to diagnose.
The BCM has an 80 pin microcontroller MC68HC912B32
I am going to extract the flashed data from the device to see if I can find anything. I may attempt to decompile it for the purpose of correcting a manufacturing defect.
This is not an easy task and may not result in success.
There is also a possibility that there could be a PCM or FCM issue and I am working to diagnose those components through parts substitution and reprogramming replacements with the proper VIN and Flash information.
I have use my oscilloscope to rule out grounding or voltage issues with the PCI-Bus.
