I am installing a Alpine SEC-100s into a 1994 Chrysler LHS that has and existing Remote Keyless Entry and Anti-Theft System.

The problem I am having is how to get the driver priority unlock to work and and also the existing alarm arms when the the doors are locked by remote(Alpine) but does not disarm when unlocked by remote. I must use the car key to disarm the existing alarm.

Any bit of guidence would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

The Chrysler uses a (+) door locking system. Can you please tell us what wires from the Alpine you used for the lock/unlock wires ?

Green(Alpine) to ORANGE / White(Chrysler) for Lock. Blue(Alpine) to Pink/Purple for Unlock. The Blue/White from Alpine did not seem to work.

Thank you again.

What you will need to do is go to the motor wire for the driver's door and attach the GREEN lead from the Alpine to the motor wire because the motor wire requires a (+) pulse. This will take care of just the driver's door.

Now for the unlocking of the other doors, you will go to the pink/purple wire and this will go to the WHITE/ BLUE wire on the Alpine system.

For the lock wire, you will need to hook up the BLUE wire on the Alpine to the ORANGE / white wire on the car.

If this doesn't work, then you will need relays to boost the signal for the 200ma signal from the Alpine to something stronger that the LHS can use.

This information I got from the 150R ( which is the same as the 100R ). If you can send me a scanned pic of the wiring diagram for the 100R that will help me better, but if it's the same, then use the instructions above.

Jeff,

That information worked out great, thank you. The wire diagram is the same and I have the locks working now. So on to the rest. Thank you for all of your help.
