i just got an aftermarket keyless entry system for my 94 civic coupe. i wired it up, and it works fine, but id like to know how I could wire it to light the signal lamps when its activated. I dont think it comes with a light output, but it has the extra wires for 2 more actuators, perhaps i could use those instead?

I'm pretty sure you can use the lock and unlock wire from the module to make the parking lights flash. I think you needs some diodes and a relay.
Check out this post. Read the last part of the second post, where he describes how to do what I just mentioned.

Got it figured out. Turns out the fuse in one of the wires was kaput. used the diagram for illuminated entry for vehicles with negative door triggers and it works great. thanks

Its been a while, but i figured since this topic was still up id add to.
ive got the keyless entry, flashing lights working great, but id like for it to go on longer than the fraction of a second. the output from the keyless entry unit only gives off power long enough to control the actuators, i wonder if theres a way to make the ouput longer for the lights. i heard there are such things as impulse timers, but i havent been able to find any. ive also heard you can do it with resistors. any suggestions?
thanks
