But.... when I  start the car, there is this buzzing noise.  I have to take out the fuse to make it stop.  Then , when I plug it back in , it's ok, only until I start it again.  The noise seems to be coming from the front passenger area.  HELP !

Could you give us any less information? Kind of car? what fuse? When you start it by key or by remote or both?

Thanks JWorm,  Everything is OK now.  I figured it out.  I will be posting some pics and some info, etc.

BTW, my remote doesn't light up.  The green backlight only comes on when you place the battery in for the first time/replace it.  It isn't supposed to be like this...right?  Supposed to be lit when you send commands...

Sometimes after changing a battery I have to reprogram the remote.  Hold down all four buttons until the remote beeps once long and then release.  Once in programming mode, press the unlock button and the remote should light up.  Pressing the lock button will turn on vibrate, if you want it.  Press the respective button again to turn off the features.  Otherwise, just leave the remote alone and after a few seconds of inactivity, it'll beep twice and leave programming mode.  Should be set to go after that.
