I have an electronic trunk release (well.. hatchback release, it's an 89 firebird).    I only want to be able to use the button when the alarm is disarmed.   Like the starter kill.  If the alarm is armed, or even if there is no power to the alarm, then I want the button to be disabled.    How do I go about doing it?

How do I hook it up to roll down the windows with the remote?

The 150r has EXT1 (1 second or latched),  EXT2 (1 second or latched) and EXT3 (continuous or 1 second).   (What does latched mean anyway?)

The 530t has the one input wire.  It'll lower the windows a couple of inches when you just press it.  If you press and hold for 3 seconds, it's  supposed to lower them all the way.   So it looks like  EXT3 would be what I want (continuous), but on the 150r remote, EXT3 is activated by pressing and holding the EXT2/EXT3 button.  Does that mean I have to hold until I see the windows go down the let up to just crack the open a bit?

Oops... I'm just now seeing where my trunk release question went.   LOL  My apoligies.  It was supposed to be two separate posts.    Please ignore the first post.

Does anyone know what I have to do to get the windows working properly with the remote?
