First post here! I've been in to car stereos for a while, but I'm having a little trouble installing my first alarm. So far I've got the siren working, the alarm will arm/disarm, but I'm wondering if I hooked up the shock sensor correctly. there is a green, red, and black wire. I grounded the black, hooked the red to constant power and the green to the negative aux trigger input on the alarm. The alarm is a carbine +3000. Also there are two hookups for a door switch (+,-), just wondering what wires i can hook these to? Can I splice in to the door switch itself even though it only has one wire? (the car is '94 honda civic hatch). Also, I am having trouble finding the wires to hook into the park lights. I have had one light blink, but not work for a signal or park light when it did. Any help would be much appreciated

The wires for the impact sensor sound correct. Make sure that you allow for a delay after arming before testing the impact sensor.

Ok, so i have the alarm working perfect, with the exception of the park lights. I found a BLACK/ red wire on a plug going into the fuse panel, tapped into it and it didn't work. The alarm has an input with a fuse and an output. I am correct in splicing the wire into the input, then running the output to the other then disconnected half of the RED / black wire? I've even tried tapping into the fuse the parklights and no go. any help here would be much appreciated!!

You don't actually cut the RED / black wire. Connect the input to a constant +12v wire (The thick white in the ignition harness is fine) and the output to the RED / black.
