Okay I recently purchased an RS3 and I'm going to put it in.  I have a manual transmission so I won't be putting in the remote start so that won't be a problem.  I need help on the wiring definitions like what does activation input mean? things like that I know which wiring I need to tap into on the car but I'm not so sure which wires I should be hooking them up to on the alarm any help would be great.

For starters, what make and model is your car?  Putting in the remote start on a manual tranny isn't that bad.

It's not really for my car and my girl doesn't want to put in the remote start, mainly I just need an explaination of each wire since the diagram is sorta confusing, I understand what most of them do, but i just want to be sure.
