I have a 99 Lincoln Navigator and one of the keys were lost. I recently installed a Viper 790XV and tested the remote start out with the DEI 555U and my only key in it, and it works fine. Is there another bypass out there that I don't need 2 keys to program the module? Will BypassKits.com Ford Bypass Kit work? I have never had any experience with their products. Thanks ahead of time.

the 555f would solve the problem with you having to use your only key, as it does NOT require a key in a box type thing, the only problem you have then is you cannot program the 555f without TWO programed keys....so either way you go, your gonna have to get another key....

the only way you could work around is the old school, take the chip outta the key method, but then you would have NO pats security, but you could just get a regular ol spare made and it would work......

i would just buy another key.......usually on ebay for pretty cheap....but you would have to have your dealer program it i think, since the programming method requires 2 keys.....

Just disable it and get a set of regular keys. It'll be less expensive besides you've already got a security system.

same key twice dont work....it wont program the key....even having both the keys on the same ring will sometimes mess it up, because it will read the first key you use twice........
