Just hooked up my AvantGaurd 4.

When I try to do a remote start from the CliffNet software, the starter doesn't spin at all.  When I click pulse starter, the starter does spin.

When I do an unlock from the software, the doors unlock and the lock again.

I'm doing all of this from the software because when I try to program the remote from the software it says to press a button on the remote, but the alarm/software doesn't respond.  How can I program a remote manually outside the software?

Got the remote and door lock problems fixed.

Anyone have and ideas on what the remote start problem is.  I tried to do the RPM programming both on software and using the buttons, and it seemed to accept but still no start.

Remote start won't work from the remotes.   I can enable igntion in the CliffNet software, crank the engine (via the software) and it will start and run, so the wiring must be correct.  However it won't remote start from the remote or by clicking the Start Engine button in the software.

I'm not familiar with the system but is it by chance in MANUAL mode ? Do you have to initiate a sequence before you can activate the starter if your car is manual or if the unit is in manual mode ?
