Hey Y'all...

Just had a Compustar 2WSS installed on my wrangler along with aproximity sensor and am really pleased with the way its working...however, I think the "sound" cominng out of the siren is really lacking..both in loundness as well as agressiveness...what I mean by this is the alarm has that generic  sound where is plays like those 8 differfent alarm noises in sequence for about 4 seconds each (I know y'all know what I'm talking about..)On the other hand, those clifford alarms have a realy agressive noise when the siren goes off as well as a really mean and loud wanring chirp that really makes you step away if you get close to the car...

I want to be able to get this "sound" as well as "loudness" out of my alarm as was wondering if it is the doing of the brain or the actual siren that comes with clifford alarms...in other words, can I simply splice the wires coming out of my brain going to the siren and hook up a clifford siren in stead (as I'm it won't simply pluug into the compustar harness)..Isn't it simply a pos/neg wiring setup going to the siren that could, in threory, be hooked up to any brain???

Thanks in advance for the help...

As Long as it's a 12 Volt siren it will work, just connect the Clifford siren to your alarm's (+) siren output and ground the other wire on the clifford siren...
However, the pulses (chirps) that the siren does is controlled by the brain...
Also, if your siren isn't as loud as u want it to be, make sure there's nothing obstructing the bell, try to make it "shoot" the sound into on open space...

some clifford sirens are speakers and are alot different than your typical "siren" .... maybe think about adding a second siren and using a relay ... i have 6 sirens ..mostly clifford using relays and it sounds like a sonic boom ... kinda kool .. i can always find my truck lol
dont be a pet monkey ..use your dmm
