Anyone know how to program an OEM remote to an Audi A6 2001 ?

We seem to have blanked one out, and now we're in a jam.

AUdi should do that for free. My brother bought a used 2000 A4 and it didnt have one of the switch blade key with keyless entry transmitters, so he went to Audi and they gave him one for free and programmed it too. He didnt pay a dime for all that. But I guess it all evens out since he paid $2000 for a new oil pump. I guess they had to pull the engine out or something to get at it.
Great Customer service though I guess.

okay, got it:

1- turn IGN  ON (key 1)

2- turn drivers door lock cylinder to the LOCK position (key 2)

3- Press lock on the remote (rem1)

4- wait 6 sec.

5- press unlock on the remote (rem 1) - all doors will UL

6- turn drivers door lock cylinder to the LOCK position (key 2)

-- to program the other remote return to step  3 and repeat, but use rem 2 when pressing buttons.

What was happening, was when the ignition is ON and lock is activated ( from the drivers lock cylinder), by the re lock pulse after remote start ( this was entering the programming mode mentioned above), the guy was pressing buttons on the OEM remote, and some how blanking out the OEM remotes.
