Yes, that is grounded.

Did you wire the r/s output between the starter kill relay and the starter? Have you tested to see if the remote start is sending power to the starter?Certified Security Specialist

Sorry about answering late but I just got the truck back to try it out. I wired it between the starter kill and  I tested it out and its getting power on the side that goes to the starter. In fact its constantly at 12volt even if I dont try the remote start. Is that normal?

I found a wiring diagram that said there was a starter kill wire. Its a black and white that goes to the ignition. I tried to cut that and for some dumb reason i grounded it. i smelled a little burning so i disconnected it right awat. no the truck wont start and there is no power to the locks or lights inside. The batter has power becaue if i try to do the remote start from the remote when it activates i get temporary power inside and i can roll the windows up and down but as soon as it stops the power goes away. Is there anything that you can think of that I can try? Please help!

First thing is to check all your fuses(car's inside and under the hood, and the alarm's fuses as well), if it was indeed the starter wire then this shouldn't have happened. Certified Security Specialist

well it was the factory starter kill wire since it came with factory keyless. I checked the fuses already and as soon as that happened but all the fuses checked out ok.

One other thing. When I try to activate the remote start it will try 3 times before shutting down. If I keep the key turned up in the ignition at the end of the third time the truck will try to crank for like half a second but its not enought for it to start.
