I was wondering if there is a place to catch the tach wire in a 2003 4WD S-10 that is in the dash. I have a factory tach in the truck so I would think that there is a tach wire in there somewhere.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for this wire or should I just go for the red wire on the pcm.

You should be able to grab the white wire at the cluster if you can reach it. There will be more than one white wire so be sure to test it.

The tach wire is white, at the PCM.
