I have installed a Viper 791xv  2-way security and remote start system on a 2002 Nissan Frontier.  Everything went well but I have one problem. There is a second starter wire (GREEN/ YELLOW) that I have not connectec to the remote starter.  The Starter engages and cranks but the truck does not start.  I believe the second starter wire requires 12 volts during cranking.

Is it correct to ad a relay to supply 12 volts when ever the first starter wire is at 12 volts?  Or can one of the programable outputs of the 791XV be used.  It doesn't seem to me the programable outputs can do it.  The instalation manual talks about cold start cirucit on some cars but doesn't tell you how to do it.

There is a 4 pin (maybe 5?) harness that plugs into the relay pack. Take the purple wire in that harness and connect it to 85 of a relay. Connect 86 and 87 to a 20 amp fused constant +12v wire. Connect 30 to the second starter wire.
