I have a clifford concept 200 and my remote stopped working. I replaced the battery but the remote still doesn't work. I bought a new remote but I need to program it to work with my alarm brain. The only problem I have is that the alarm brain is armed and I have no way of unarming it to get into valet mode to program the new remote. Does anyone know how to reset the alarm cpu so that its unarmed or so that I can get into valet mode to program the new remote. Thanks alot.

Yeah I have seen that wiring info before, I used it to install the alarm. I just can't unarm my car. To get to valet mode I must turn the ignition on, but I can't turn the ignition on because the alarm is armed and the ignition/starter are immobilized. If I were to take the brain and the new remote to a shop could they program the new remote to work with my brain? Any shop owners/workers know?

umm, the starter is disabled, but i dont think the ignition would be... thats not really possible unless you did that intentionally... anyway, the alarm will trigger when you open the door, and it would also trigger if you put the key in the ignition and turned it anyway, but once you put the key in and turn it to ignition, press the valet button and that should disarm it.  if that doesnt, pop the hood and cut the siren.  that will relax things a bit for you to work on it.  if you have to, you can reconnect the starter wire and unhook the parking light flash so you  can drive to an install bay.  but after you do ignition and valet you should be fine.  then you can key on, press the valet the number of times for the channel you want to program, then press the remote button accordingly.  the instructions may be a little different for remote programming but thats how most DEI learn routines work.

even though your ignition/starter is immobilized, turning your key to the ignition "on" position should send +12v to the WHITE/ brown wire of your clifford brain, at which point it will be ready to receive your valet code. if this is a brand new alarm, the default code should be 2 presses of the "*" button followed by 1 press of the flat button.
if this doesn't work, then you will need to double check the wiring and find some way to get +12v to that WHITE/ brown wire.
it's also possible that the valet switch somehow is damaged or disconnected along the way, or the valet code has been changed.
good luck
