Hello Everyone

I bought the Delta Panther Pro-5005 w/ Remote Start alarm and had a audio/alarm place install it. Well, everything works except for the Door Triggers and Hood Triggers. Well, instead of taking it back  to the shop for them to fix it,and waiting another day to get my car back, I decided I could take a look at it.. I know how to wire car stereos and the like, and I am good with wiring stuff, but never had done an alarm. Well, I have a 97 Chevy Silverado and it says my door triggers are negative. It said the door trigger is the purple wire at the door pin, or I could get it at the light switch. Well, what I found is this.. two small lead wires going to the Driver side Door Pin, along with a thicker, I think new ( shop put it in ), violet wire that is spliced with the violet wire of the pin. I followed this wire down to I guess its the kick panel, right next to the parking break, and found that it was spliced together with the negative alarm wire but that they went into a relay.. Here is where I am lost. Right now, when I sit in the car, arm the alarm and open the door, IT does nothing.. then it does the alarms "Defective ZOne Bypass " thing after about 20 seconds....

ANy help would be appreciated.

sounds like it has a domelight delay, set the alarm wait 30 seconds then open the door!
