Hi, I just got a Impulse imp 1010 alarm from e Bay, and didn't get any instructions with it. does anyone know of any sites that would have them. I E- mailed the seller, but I wanted to install it on Sunday or Monday. It has the wire color code on the back of the alarm, but I wanted something a little more detailed.

Thanks Harry, Havertown, Pa

Find the door pin wire that activates the dome light when the door is opened. Splice into this wire and if the wire registers a ( - ) then hook this wire up to the GREEN wire of the IMP 1010 . If the door pin wire registers ( + ) when the door is open then you hook up the VIOLET wire. Most GM's are negative trigger so you won't need the VIOLET wire.
