I can't find a tach wire for this vehicle. I have tried the options listed for the tach signal in other posts and tech info. and can come up with nothing. I'm beginning to wonder if this vehicle has 04 wiring in it. Please help with any info. on finding the tach for this vehicle. I tried tachless start and it will not crank long enough, probably because its diesel. Is there a usable tach wire behind the instrument panel? Thanks, Dan

hi dan if the f350 isa6.0ltr the tach wire is under the inside fuse panel taped to a harness,there are a bunch of wires there.the one you need is the GREEN / WHITE it has black shrink wrap on the end.hope this helps. ted.

As mentioned should be GREEN / WHITE from the driver side underdash area. Look to the left kick near the ebrake area, then follow that up till you see a thick harness running up towards the fusebox. There will be a couple wires taped to that harness. They have heat shrink on the tips. This will be the same wiring weather the truck is an 03 or an 04. If your cluster has an RPM gauge then you also should be able to find a tach signal at the back of the cluster..Good luck,
