Hey all, I am MECP certified, but I haven't done many installs at all.

My LED on my 791xv seems to not want to turn off after the alarms been tripped. it's supposed to just flash a number of times representing the zone that went off, and shut off when the ignition is turned on.. but mine doesn't! it just stays on... does someone have a suggestion as to what could be wrong?

Also I read that the satellite relay pack was supposed to have a built in starter kill... my anti/grind works, my starter kill doesn't. I had to add a relay in before the green wire in order to get this feature to actually work...  comment?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

I've had the same problems with the starter kill problem. Maybe your LED is not plugged in the port all the way. If the LED is solid then that may be the case...Also check your valet port...and try programming something to see if the LED corresponds with the programming.

the starter killfeature is turned on and off with the programming features...use your bitwriter and program Security Feature On and then it will work... the LED should reset when you disarm the unit and then cycle the ignition

hmm... I'll have to look into the programming feature.

Even though I alread added a starter kill relay... hmm... two starter kills?

that could work

and as for my LED not turning off... I'm an idiot and I hope no one kicks me in the teeth for it, but this is what happens when you hook up your secondary ignition instead of your primary.... that was a nice kick in the rear for me to thouroughly read the owners manual... hahaha
