I have a 96 ford contour. The keyless remote fell and no longer works.  Now when I open the car door manually the lights blink and don't stop blinking. At this point I just want to disable it completely. My question is this....how do I disable it? Where are the wires or components located in order for me to disable it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the easiest way would be to go to the ford dealer and pick up a new remote. Pulling out the keyless module and bypassing the wires that run through it would take some time
