Installing Phoenix pd175 (alarm, remote start, keyless entry) in 97 Sebring convertible auto trans.I have done 2 remotes b4, but this is WAY more complicated!

car has four ignition wires : Ignition 1 blue, ignition 2 GREEN/ Red, Ign 3 (Heat/AC) BLACK/ white , and Acc(Blower Motor) BLACK/ Orange, plus yellow for starter and red for Constant 12v+.

Remote starter has 2 brown wires that go to key on and a blue wire that goes to power supply for heater/ac. Where do I connect these to? Do I need to add a relay for the 3rd ignition?Do I connect the blue wire to ign. 3 and acc.?HELP !!

Problem # 2 . There is a relay for the starter killer with gray, black and 2 greens. Gray connects to the pd175. It says to cut the power supply to the distributor and connect the black and one green to the "key on" position wire on the "key cylinder"and the other green to the other side (distributor side)of the cut ...Which wire do I cut for this?

#3. Alarm has a positive door pin signal and a negative door pin signal wire. Do I need to connect BOTH of these? (wiring diagram for car only shows a door trigger (-) yellow wire at the BCM.)

#4 car has single wire door lock system . when i did my old caravan, i used a 249 and 1.5k resistor to connect to the lock and unlock wires. The interior relays for the central lock in the pd175 has 6 wires: ORANGE / black is normally closed, whit/black is common,yellow/black normally open, orange is NC, white is COM and yellow is NO. I think i would connect WHITE/ black to the 249 ohm, and white to the 1.5k, but where do I connect the other four wires?

Just to really make it a challenge i also got a module that will raise 4 pwr windows. I get the window connections, but not sure about the other 3 wires.  one says ACC(+), one says (-) to central lock and one says (+) lock on.....where the heck do I connect these (there is no extra accessory lead to use from the pd175) ?

Really appreciate any help u can give me !!!!!!!!!!

It's kind of hard to make out what you are asking. But it sounds like you are over your head with this vehicle.

Hi, I am installing a keyless entry (Phoenix pd175) in a 97 Sebring convertible with factory power locks. I found the single wire (White w/dark green) at the BCM and hooked up a 270 ohm and 1500 ohm resistor inline to this wire. The pd175 has onboard relays, so I didn't wire the resistors to any additional relays.

The manual says to hook the unlock wire to the 270 and the lock wire to the 1500. If I do this, nothing happens. If I hook the unlock wire to the 1500, then it unlocks when I press the unlock button, but I can't get the lock function to work at all either way.  The vehicle does NOT have a factory security system. Why does it not work with the 270 but with the 1500? Do I need to use more than 1500 to get the lock function to work?

The wires for the relays are ORANGE / black and orange NC, Yellow/black and yellow NO, WHITE/ black is unlock and White is lock. I have the 2 yellows connected to 12v and it doesn't seem to matter if I ground the 2 oranges or not...either way , I can only get the unlock to work with the 1500 ohm resistor and get nothing with the lock button!!!!!  I'm confused?!?!?!?

here is what i have:
Power Lock SINGLE WIRE SYSTEM 20 PIN CONNECTOR AT BODY CONTROL
Power Unlock WHITE/ L GREEN MODULE IN DRIVER KICK PANEL #217
#217- See Single Wire Resistor Door Lock Diagram.
A Positive Pulse Through A 2.7 K-Ohm Resistor for Unlock, A Positive Pulse Through A 620 Ohm Resistor for Lock.
try putting the two yellow wires to 12v and use the lock and unlock wires the proper resistor on each wire and make a Y connection to the WHITE/ Lt grn in the car....
Good Luck

installing phoenix pd175 in 97 Sebring convertible

spec sheet shows parking lights BLACK / YELLOW wire at fuse block...found this wire ..0 volts when lights off, 12 volts when lights on, but when i hooked one of the leads from the control unit to it , nothing happens..getting 12 volt out of the wire ..don't understand it ????

Control unit has TWO leads , fused , says to connect to pos. of turn signals....DOES ANYONE know where I can find the turn signal + leads under the dash to connect these to????????

Thanks..PETE

See if this helps:
Parking Lamp BLACK / YELLOW (+) GRAY 16 PIN CONN. AT FUSE BLOCK
You should only need one of the wires coming from the alarm....they give you two wires because some imports have two separate light wires (left and right)...
Good Luck
