Hey guys
Anybody know how to program the autopage 850 with starter? More specifically right now I hit the * button once and the car starts. The manual says i can program it so that can hit the * button twice in 3 seconds for it to start, this is to avoid accidental starts. Anybody know how to do this? I can seem to find this information in the manual

I believe this is the the INSTALLATION manual on how to program everything in the brain.

You must be looking at the OPERATIONS manual?

The settings are changed around on the autopage, but it's the same location and same button to press

1 chirp (factory default) is *,   2 chrip is *-*,  3 chirp is * + lock button to start

setting 3 seem safest

dude what happened to your manual...?

Thanks dude did what you said and it worked yeaaah.
As to the install manual, I am not an installer just an end user, so they didnt give me the manual to program features. Funny thing is I brought back to them and ask them to do it for me and they said it cant be done...hmmmmm
If you know where i can get my hands on the install manual that would be great, beats having to make an appointment for them to do a 5 min job.
THanks again

Try calling autopage..  I bet their useless customer service will tell you to talk to your dealer.

or you'll have to try to mess with it based on the manuals of the other clones.

I would say 90%+ of the programming are the same.
