I just got a good deal on a new Omega Max w/ Echo Module. I was wondering if it was possible to safely install this in a manual transmission. I was going to use it in my Nissan, but if it will work with a manny tranny I will take out my UltraStart and use tha Omega in my truck.

Thanks

Ed

Well, let me expand.  I didn't realize you highlighted the word safely.  The Omega Max is supposed to only be installed in automatic transmission vehicles.  You can hook it up to a manual transmission car and it will work, however, if you leave the car in gear it will take off.  If you're concerned about leaving the car in gear, you should do some research on Neutral Safety Switches and see if you can connect one to Omega Max.  I just don't leave mine in gear.

I almost never leave mine in gear either, but if I did................ wel you know the story. My Ultrastart works great and it in made for a manny tranny. Guess i'll keep it!
