Ok I will be the first to say imports and me dont get along. Never had and never will.

I can not find the tach wire on my wife’s 1997 Lexus. It’s a 6 cylinder  and I was told it should be located at the ignitor  on a bracket just in front of drivers side strut tower with the module having the name denso on it.. well my lexus has nothing of the sort on it that I can find. Is it possible to tie into a wire where it meets the gauge cluster on the dash?

My alarm/remote start unit that I am trying to tie in is a valet 554r and I am under the understanding that it has to have this connection for the remote start to function properly. Any of you pro’s have a cure  so that I can be done with this little project?

Thanks

If it too fast your Too old...

there will be an ignitor labeled, "DENSO, ignitor" hear the strut tower. the ignitor is a square box w/ a harness.
try using voltsense if you cant find the tach wire. toyotas works fine w/ voltsense(tachless mode).
