Here's the deal.  Got it off ebay.  Installed it myself, everything works great, locks, alarm.  however the remote start isnt working...   the remote transmits the signal, and then nothing happends.  the car starts with key, and i rechecked the wire connections on my 01 dodge stratus sedan. i dont understand it, ive installed an rs before and ive never seen one liek this.  the relays dont make any noise either.  i figure i missed a wire or something.  any idea's?  i need help.  :(

if its not even powering up the ign at all, then you may not have the safety neutral wire hooked up. there most likely a wire that should see a ground in order for the remote start to work.

yes most systems will operate unless it is hooked up. it would be the same thing as leaving the car in gear. the remote start will work because it thinks the car will take off. post your findings.......
