I have found 3 different wiring instructions for 1999 F150.

Their is only 2 ignition wires on alarm. Some wiring instructions show 4 on truck.Which one's do I need?

I do not have factory keyless entry, so how do I hook up the door locks?(negative trigger or reverse polarity)

Where is the best place to hook up the tach input?

What about door switch?Do I need to hook up both doors?

How do I hook up dome light?Do I need a relay?

Here is a link to alarm diagram. http://www.crimestopper.com/techweb/ProductDiagrams/CS-2015FM-diagram.pdf  (this is the same as CS-2016FM)

I have a PKF module and I think I have that part figured out.

Any help would be great!!!!!!!!

Thanks,

Irving

From past experience on these trucks, the wiring information seems pretty wacko. There are 3 IGN wiresw and 2 ACC wires to tap into according to my notes and then the door locks are the worst for trying to find consistant information. Most of the Ford's that I've done I was told was a 5 wire and you grab the wires at the passengerside kick panel. Well this is not true at all on most of the ones that I've worked on.

I needed to get them at the driverside dash ( way up high ) and 5 wire the system from that location otherwise if I used the passengerside location as every other wiring diagram said, I would blow fuses in the engine. The tach location I have as being in a square black plug ( 3 wires RED / GREEN, PINK/WHITE, RED / WHITE ) located in front of the motor below the air intake by the fan, this is for the 4.6 L

The door trigger you can use the BLACK /LIGHT BLUE wire and also use this as the dome light and you need to use a relay and wire it up like this: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/105.jpg ( use the positive dome light circuit ).

Thank's Jeff

A couple of more questions.

Do I have to use all 3 IGN wires and 2 ACC wires? If so, how would i hook them up since their is only 2 IGN wires and 1 ACC wire coming from alarm.

Also it is a 5.4L so I think the tach would be in a different location.

Does it matter which side of the relay for the dome light that I hook up the door trigger?

Thanks,

Irving

Use the above relays for 2nd or 3rd relay triggers. You can wire as many as you need with these diagrams. For the 5.4L the tach is a lt. GREEN / WHITE at the coil on the passenger side of the motor between the fuel injectors. As far as the dome light, don't tap into the domelight relay for the door trigger instead use the door trigger wire itself.
