I have a friend that has a 99 Mercury Sable and the factory alarm is driving him crazy. He wants me to disconnect the alarm. I read that there is a pink/white wire in the drivers kick panel. Can I just ground this wire and be done with it?

ANY HELP PLEASE!

OEM Alarm Disarm PINK/WHITE DRIVER KICK PANEL **

** PINK/WHITE (-) Wire Also Found At OEM Alarm (RAP) Module Located Behind The Driver Dash Above Gas Pedal.

Thank You for the responce. I have the wire color but wanted to know if I can just leave this wire grounded and the factory alarm will not work at all?
