can someone suggest a single wire system, or one of those OMEGA DATAbuses (which one of these do i need? OMEGA DATAbus  # DB-DLM-3 or with ByPass # DB-GMDL-BP). This for a 2003 Pontiac Grand AM SE1.
also, do these systems make the installation easier and if so how? I also need a site that sells them.

Thanks again for all the help.

We sell the MULTIDL for the 1999-2004 Grand Am for $ 65. USD shipped. Easy to install and great system to work with as far as programming goes.

2 relays..... lock is ground, unlock is ground through a 1K or so resistor. $5 worth of parts. I am to believe you are doing doorlocks??

This module does more than just lock and unlock:

Lock/Unlock, Trunk, Panic, OEM Security Arm/Disarm, Driver 1 Settings

If your installing an alarm or remote starter, this is the best bang for the buck. If your not too concerned about al the other extra stuff, then yes a simple double relay and resistor will do the same for the lock system.

Not if U use Combo DATABuss Interface.
U hook up wires for PASS Lock and door locks to unit and  a wire goes to you OBDII plug
Pretty simple install compared to old way
Don't know about those Canadian Units
OMEGA Research & Development makes a lot of these for different Alarm companies also
