I own a 97 monte carlo. any diagrams on how to bypass the anti theft sysem for remote start? cheap easy way of doing this?

There is no easy or cheap way. Just the correct way is all that matters if you want to do it right.
You need to get yourself one of these. Bypass-Look down the list for your car.
Here is the wiring diagram for your car.

Are you talking about an actual factory alarm or wanting to bypass the resistor embedded in the key.  If you just want to bypass the resistor in the key, take the key and measure the resistance of the resistor and then all you need is a relay and a resistor of the same approximate value.
