I have a corolla 2000, I read a few posts from here and saw that I need to wire in a relay so that the car does not continue to crank once it has started. For the relay, is this how the wiring is suppose to look like:

Pin 85 to a (-) out when running wire from the RS

Pin 86 to 12v+ constant

Pin 30 to the starter output from the RS AND the starter side of the cut wire (Thats very important)

Pin 87a to Key side of starter wire.

The RS is Prostart 3300. I just can't seem to get the unit to stop cranking the car is running. As well, can you elaborate on Pin 85, not sure how, or where that one should be hooked up.

it's not stopping cranking because it's not reading tach.

Hook the purple 18awg wire from the starter to one of the ignition coils and use YELLOW /GREEN, RED / blue, gray, or white.

don't forget you also need to program tach.

flash the hoodpin, press brake, push lock and unlock on remote together, lights flash 5 times. release brake and start car, wait until idles down and press and hold brakes until lights flash. Done.

Thanks for the help, I was looking at the tach, the unit could not find the tach from the black wire located in the diagnostics controls, I went to the ignition coils ... tada. Next time, I'll always go to the ignition coils ... it took forever for the unit to find tach signal the first time ( apprx. 10 mins). Once I hooked it up the wires @ ignition coils ... no problem.
