I need some help with figuring out the wire colors to bypass the clutch on my 1997 Ford F150 when starting it, does anyone know what color wires need to be jumped ect??? this truck is used off road only and I would put a switch on it so it will not be a danger when not in use.

above the cluth there should be a connector with 2 wire in it, just jump those wires and you will have a bypassed switch.

sorry not that simple, on older or simpler trucks maybe, I forgot to say that there are 6 wires including the cruise control....anyways I did find the answer I was looking for, it's a blue with orange wire and it either requires + or - depending on the year, so you might need a relay or just to ground it out. either way no big deal but I just didn't want to fry my cruise control in the process so I asked,

If anyone needs I did find the whole wire chart for this truck just let me know and i'll send it....
