I recently installed a Crimestopper RS900VII in a 2003 Chevy Blazer. The problem I'm having is with the factory alarm. If you use just the CS transmitter, everything works fine, but if you lock the doors with the factory transmitter or use the lock button on the door then close it, the factory alarm goes off if you unlock it with the CS transmitter. I know the factory disarm wire is lt. green (-) and is located in the DKP. I tried using a negative pulse from the unlock side of the CS power lock outputs (I know the locks are + so I used a relay to invert the signal) to diarm it but when you hit the unlock button, it still sets it off. Any ideas on how to get it to work. The only reason I need to fix this is the customer's kids always lock the door with the inside button and then close the doors and sometimes she forgets about it.

I usually grab it coming in the drivers door jamb boot. As you stated it is light green (-). Did you test to make sure you have the right wire? If not put one lead of you meter to ground and the other to the light green wire. Turn the key in the door. It should show a ground when you turn the key to the unlock position. If your using a test light, Set off the factory alarm and then tap the light green wire. If the alarm stops sounding, that's the right wire. Good luck,
Mike
