I have a T&C with no security key( Black Key), but has keyless entry.

I know electronics but not cars. I want to install myself.......could someone tell me what system or systems would give me the basic security (keyless entry and alarm). Also help with the wiring side. I want to know if the car was tampered with in a hotel lot or similar situation What alarm system would I use?

Your trying to add an alarm system....correct? Just try and stick with a "name brand"

Check some more of the posts on this great site for some suggestions. AST (ultra start) has some

good, inexspensive alarms. Crimestopper as well. Talk to some installers in your area as well. heres a tech sheet for the van.........good luck

12volts	lt. blue/red (10A)	+	ignition harness
Starter	yellow	+	ignition harness
Ignition	pink/white	+	ignition harness
Power Lock	PURPLE / green	-	conn. 3, pin 21 @ BCM
Power Unlock	same wire as power lock
Lock Motor	tan/white		conn. 2, pin 10 @ BCM
Unlock Motor	tan/lt. green		conn. 2, pin 28 @ BCM
Disarm Defeat	tan/brown		conn. 2, pin 26 @ BCM
Parking Lights+	DO NOT USE
Parking Lights-	WHITE/ brown	-	headlight switch

Trunk/Hatch Release	PURPLE / tan	-	conn. 2, pin 6 @ BCM
Power Sliding Door	PURPLE / blue	-	conn. 3, pin 1 @ BCM
Factory Alarm Arm	PURPLE / lt. blue	-	conn. 3, pin 14 @ BCM
Factory Alarm Disarm	same wire alarm arm
Disarm No Unlock
