Omega Mars won't unlock doors '02 Taoe

I installed a Omega Mars-22 remote starter on my '02 Chevy Tahoe.  I have everything working fine except the remote will not unlock the doors.  It locks the doors fine, but won't unlock.  I used a DLP-P3 to reverse polarity as required and tested the wires.  It reads 12V on the correct wire when the unlock button is pressed, and I've tested it all the way back to the brain where it's also getting the signal.  If anyone has any ideas, please help!

Also, I've considered not using the Mars remotes and just using the factory remotes to start the vehicle.  The book says to attached the pink wire to a negative pulse, but I don't know what to hook this to or how to use/program my factory remotes to operate this feature.  Anyone know how to do this?

I used a DB-PASS-23 for the passlock bypass.  Up until a few minutes ago, everything worked perfectly fine (start, stop, lock) except the unlock.  Now it doesn't want to start with the remote.  It started a couple times fine, then I went to the house to see if the range was good and it acts like it's going to start (lights turn on, everything activates like you turned the key to the on position) but then it just shuts off.  I held the start button several times and it did the same thing, then it started.  I shut it down and it wouldn't restart.  One time after trying to start it with the remote, I pressed the unlock button (on the door) and it started.  I'm really confused now.  I also have been unsuccessful at getting it to start at all, regardless of what I did.  I had to quit messing with it for now as I don't have time to monkey with it anymore tonight. 

Everything worked fine when I tested it.  Drove the car and everything.  I then unhooked everything to tie the wires up and mount the brain.  The only thing I've hooked up different is I didn't hook up the door lock circuit to the brain since the doors won't unlock with the remote anyway.  I also turned off the "doors lock/unlock upon ignition on/off" in the programming.  I guess I'm not sure how these could cause the problem since it did started fine several times before crapping out.  I'll probably trying hooking the door lock back up just to see. 

I don't really see an advantage to having the Mars remote if I can control everything with the factory remote.  The buttons are kind of small on the mars and beyond start, lock, unlock there's no other features I need.  I have more than enough range with the factory remote.  If I decide to hook it up this way, is the positive pulse doorlock system a problem?  Should I hook to the unlock at the kick panel or somewhere else?  The book claims it needs something with a negative pulse.  I also can't find anywhere in the instructions that explains how to activate the starter using other remotes.  It just says to hook the pink/black wire to a negative pulse.

Thanks for the help!!  I've done wiring in the past so I'm not totally in the dark but I'd have much rather let someone else install it.  Both electronics shops within an hour of here (we're quite rural) couldn't get me in until the first of February which sort of defeated the purpose of getting a remote starter!
