Hi, Sorry for my english...

I Got a remote starter ProStart CT-3360 i have a 94 Ford Tempo 2.3L Automatic transmission.

This remote starter is made for manual transmission but i "think" only the handbrake wire is the difference.

Everything is wired, here is my wiring:

6 PINS:

CT3360 -  CAR

Yellow - RED / Green

Red - Yellow

Orange - Gray / YELLOW

Purple - WHITE/ Pink

Green - Not used

Red - Yellow

5 PINS CONNECTOR

Black - Grounded to chassis

Purple - Tan / YELLOW of the coil

Gray - Hood switch

Orange - Brake Switch

Yellow - Brown (Lights)

12 PINS CONNECTOR

Only the ORANGE (Parking Brakes) and the BLUE/WHITE (+ Door input)

have been plug (Well with an aligator wire for testing before soldering

The Unit is working, the remote is programmed to work with the unit,

the tach program been correct too.

The Doors lock/unlock and trunk work fine, the parking lights works fine too.

but if i press the START nothing happend, no lights no clicks.

If i'm going into the "TESTING" mode, i'm doing all the procedure, ok too

and i CAN remotely start the car!  as i like.

but when i'm pressing Brakes, hood or anything it's click 3 times (Mean Leaving Ready mode)

no way to get back into ready mode.... i have to do all the TESTING procedure again

that is not normal... have i forgot to do something???

Please Help!!  Thanks you very much

Yes, to remote start a manual r/s system it has to be set up. If this unit were hooked up correctly you would start the car with the key, then apply the e-brake, press start button on remote, remove keys from car, open door and get out, them press the start button again to shut the car off. The system is now ready to remote start. You must have the door pin switch, and the e-brake switch hooked into the r/s unit. This is the only way this unit will start.

Yes that worked like this, but alot more complicated for nothing.

I changed the unit at canadiantire store for the 3360 (automatic)

and works like a charm.... i lost 2 days of tests for only that ready mode!

Thanks you very much

now i'm looking how to connect the trunk wire output (not used in my case) and use

it to start the Read window defroster. but i didn't looked on internet yet to find info on that push button and where i can find the wire into the dash and if this is possible
