I am having a hard time getting my remote start to work with the clifford-solaris. I have a 94 nissan sentra with a manual transmission. The alarm portion works fine. When I go thru the remote start sequence it only half works. I set the hand brake, click the ** on the remote, and remove the key. The engine remains running as it should. I exit the car and arm the alarm, the alarm arms and the engine shuts down. This is also correct. When I hit the * to remote start the car, the only thing that happens is that the parking lights flash, but the car does not try and crank. I checked the blue/orange (-out when remotely started) no output when I try and remote start. I think something is preventing the brain from sending out the (-) on the blue/or wire

Any suggestions...

Thanks

Ed

did you try to send a  ground on that on that blue wire so you can confirm that the alarm is the problem. Just disconnect it and send a ground to the wire. If it starts, then there is a problem with the alarm.
