2005 Dodge Magnum remote start/alarm

Hi,

Did a remote start/alarm today in above mentioned vehicle, found a piece of information incorrect as shown on previous posts.....the vehicle will not disarm no unlock with ignition and sentry key.  I measured at ignition switch across PURPLE / brown and PURPLE / orange isolating PURPLE / brown from vehicle and found that there are approximately 8kohms (maybe slightly less) when the key is inserted into the cylinder.  So i added a relay switching a ground through the above resistance to the PURPLE / brown triggered by the disarm output (also using same output to pulse the transponder module).  Hope this helps.  Also the trunk release only operates when vehicle unlocked.
