Try holding on 4 pushes of the valet button. Or push the valet button x amount of times, when you reach 1 past the available number of pushes it will sound, take the number of pushes -1 and hit the valet button that many times and hold on the last one, then hit button 1 on the remote. Usually the last available push of the valet button is delete all transmitters. And yes you will have to reprogram any remotes that you want programmed to the alarm.
