And my second problem of the week.
2001 pathfinder AS2300TW.
PKN2 for bypass.
unit worked for about 8 hours then locked up the immobilizer. LED comes on solid and won't start with key or remote.
unplugging bypass and jumping ign back together is the only way to get vehicle to run.
Customer only has 1 key for the vehicle and I"ve tryed 3 modules all with the same result. Any takers?

Is this a "keyless" bypass module ?  Most of these need 2 keys to program properly.

The customer should have a spare key anyways......  program new key. dealer only

The site specifies that you need 2 keys to program, but the instructions say only 1 key is required. Ask the guys at freetech.com and see what their response is for this. They are usually pretty good at trouble shooting since it's their primary job as troubleshooting reps for the company.
