Hey guys,

I got a viper 791xv installed in my s10 and i only have the lcd that came with it.. i asked our lead installer if that regular 4 button remote would program up to the 791xv and he said it would.. so i bought it went home and attempted to program it.. kept a door open, put the key in run and pressed the valet twice and held it on the 2nd. it entered the programming mode but couldnt seem to fnd the keyfob.. i tried pressing hte lock button unlock button aux button remote start button nuttin.. even tried holding them.. is there something im missing here or does this remote not work for this system(this is the remote that like comes with non responder systems)
