Ok so i am new to this forum, I have searched you mass amounts of knowledge for about a a week, but still am stuck on what to do, here is my problem hopefully it is clear:

So i got the install sheets from a dealer and these are the colors they gave me for the wires i need to tap-in to.  But my problem is that all the wires on my harness dont have any thing to connect to on my car.

Heres my harness wires on the Avi Start 3000:

12pin:

1 Blue/white : Lock(-output)

2 GREEN / WHITE  :Unlock (- output)

3 Ground - ground

4 WHITE/ Green: Tach input

5 Yellow:  (+input)

6 Yellow/Black: Reverse light (+ input)

7 Tan :  Hood switch (-input)

8 RED / black : Parking light Output

9Gray/black : Remote start activated (-output)

10 Gray/white  : Factory alarm disarm (-output)

11 RED / white : Parking light polarity input, (+) or (-) Select

12 Red : Battery (+)

6pin

1Pink: Ignition output

2Red: 12volts

3Pink: ignition Output

4Violet: Starter output

5Gray: Heater/AC output

[*] Not used

Here is the list of the wire colors on my car:

1 12 Volts: White

2 Starter: BLACK/ white
3 Second starter: BLACK / YELLOW
4 Ignition: BLACK/ red
5 Accessory: WHITE/ blue
6 Power lock: ORANGE / black
7 Power Unlock: ORANGE / Blue
8 Parking lights + : RED / blue

9 Door trigger: RED / white

10 Trunk/hatch pin: RED / blue
11 Hood pin: yellow/black
12 Trunk hatch release: orange or light green
13 Factory alarm arm: light GREEN/ red
14 FActory alarm diarm: Green yellow
15 Tach: Blue/black
16 Brake wire: RED / green
17 Horn trigger: GREEN/ blue

Here is the connections that I assume that need to be made on the harness:

12pin connector

1   goes to 6 on the car
2   goes to 7 on the car
3   goes to a ground
4   goes to blue/black or to the injectors
5   ?
6   ?
7   hood pin in the engine bay
8   ?
9   ground it?
10 goes to 14 on the car
11 ?
12 Battery

6 pin

1 ?

2 Battery
3 ?
4 goes to 2 on the car
5 ?
6 not used/no wire

I hope this all made sense, i just need to know what to connect the ?'s to.

Thanks soooo much!

CJ

CJ,
There is a lot more to this than just matching up wires from your remote starter unit to your car. If this is your first remote starter install get someone with experience to help you out. I don’t want to discourage you from attempting this, but the car you are working with will require some detail attentions. It’s pretty expensive to be learning on this car. Make your first test run on a rust bucket instead.
It will require Cold start wire or second starter. Do you know how to run a relay to make it work? Setting jumper on the remote starter unit if it has one?
To answer your questions:
5 Yellow: (+input), 16 Brake wire: RED / green
6 Yellow/Black: Reverse light (+ input)- not require
8 RED / black : Parking light Output – go to #8 Parking lights + : RED / blue
11 RED / white : Parking light polarity input, (+) or (-) Select, Your wiring diagram indicate the RED / blue is +, then the RED / white has to be connected to + 12V.
1Pink: Ignition output - 4 Ignition: BLACK/ red
3Pink: ignition Output - 3 Second starter: BLACK / YELLOW, Set your jumper on the remote starter unit to second starter
5Gray: Heater/AC output - 5 Accessory: WHITE/ blue
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.Help with Avistart 3000 on G20 -- posted image.
