I am having a RS/Alarm (Viper 560XV) installed in my 98 Expedition and would like to maintain the Driver Door Priority as it is with the factory Keyless Entry.

The installer has told me that me does not think the 560XV supports that feature, but if it did, it will require additional parts and labor.

Does that sound correct? Does anyone know if the Viper 560XV supports DDP?

Thanks for your help.

If the vehicle is and was equiped with factory keyless, you can do drivers door priority.

Use Pink/Lt.Blue NEG(-) @ the alarm module, or the RAP module HIGH in the pass. kick (behind the dash)

If the vehicle did not have factory keyless.....sorry 1998 Ford Expy Driver Door Priority -- posted image.

TuneMan,

Thanks for the fast response 1998 Ford Expy Driver Door Priority -- posted image.  Yes, my Expy has factory keyless.... So, I shouldn't need any additional parts? Is the actual hook-up pretty straight forward? Should it require much additional labor?

The installed say's he's MECP Certified and they sell the Viper line - not sure why he wouldn't know about the Driver Door Priority - just want to make sure I'm getting gouged 1998 Ford Expy Driver Door Priority -- posted image.

Once again, thanks for your help.
