I have a choice of one of these two alarms. Anybody have any clue as to which is the best performance wise or reliability wise? I live in Maryland and I have no idea where to go to get the Galaxy 5100RS installed. I know Cir City for the CA-645. Please help!! Also, has anyone ever used the Galaxy 5100RS?? Any good?

I have used the galaxy 5xxx rs series. yes, it is a good alarm. Spring for the RS-2W 2way w/color remote if you can..works great..
The circuit city CA-645 is plain garbage..numerous problems from what I've seen and read. I have a friend who has it on a honda with numerous problems and CC visits with no resolution in sight.. I personally have not had the pleasure or (displeasure) of dealing with this thing. I would avoid it if possible. The galaxy 5100RS from scytek is probably more reliable in my opinion.. Then again, the old code alarm products are not too shabby..looks like circuit city just had a bad line with this model lineup..

Thanks Metaverse! Since I have a Galaxy 5100RS 2W, I will try to find someone to install it for me. Mine included the 4 way window roll-up module.  I will also go back and get my money I paid for the CA-645, which I noticed as well on here that people referred to as garbage!
