Multiple wires for remote starter

when installing a remote starter and the car has more than 1 wire for the same function how do you determine which one to go with. i test them with my DMM but does it really matter? like on fords with 3 wires for ignition

Most of the time you need a seperate relay to power each wire. They are seperate for a reason so don't save $1 on a relay and take a chance on messing up something in the car.

unless you know what accs. wire powers what....it IS best to use em all with seperate relays....
