just couris to see how many people lock out the program and the learn routine. I never done while abck but have been doign it latley due to that soem one got into programing and change a few things, including the IGn and ACC setting, causiong his car to have transmioson problems. To day i get a call to say none of his remotes work, it turns out he got into learn routine and delated all remotes. So now im am locking that out to.

swamprat, go to bed man, that message was damn hard to read. As for locking out programming, I never do but I have had a couple people mess with there programming and erase remotes and what not. I just tell them flat out that I know what you did and its gonna cost 20 bucks to reprogram it. My warrenty stops as soon as people start f**king around with the install or the programming.

I agree with ravendarat tell your customers up front that your going to charge them if someone else messes with the install or the programing. If his remotes got erased just look at your tech book for the alarm it's simple to reprogram them. I had a similar situation and I made 20 bucks for a 15second reprograming.
